HaloChatHelp Center

HaloChat is committed to creating a safe, restrained, and long-term communication environment. We believe that a high-quality community is not built through strict restrictions alone, but through a shared understanding of boundaries, respect, and rules by the majority of users.

On HaloChat, you can freely communicate, create groups, and start temporary conversations, but this freedom does not mean ignoring others’ feelings or the platform’s basic order. Becoming a well-regarded HaloChat user shows respect for others and helps protect the security of your account.

1. Respecting Others is the Foundation of All Communication

In any form of chat, ensure that your actions do not disturb or harm others, including but not limited to:

  • Frequently sending messages to strangers
  • Repeatedly adding people to groups without consent
  • Sending advertisements, promotions, referral links, or solicitations
  • Using suggestive, harassing, or offensive language
  • Persisting in communication despite the other party’s lack of interest

Even though HaloChat supports temporary conversations between non-contacts, this feature is designed for normal communication, not harassment or promotion. Accounts flagged by multiple users for unwanted behavior may face further review.

2. Use Platform Features Responsibly and Avoid Abuse

HaloChat provides search, group-joining, and temporary conversation features to improve communication efficiency, not to bypass boundaries. The following may be considered misuse:

  • Mass-contacting strangers through search or recommendation features
  • Rapidly initiating many conversations or groups in a short time
  • Using multiple accounts for the same behavior
  • Attempting to evade platform restrictions by switching accounts
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the platform through technical or abnormal means

The platform evaluates behavior based on frequency, user feedback, and system risk assessments, not solely on individual reports.

3. Compliance with Content Rules is Key to Long-Term Account Safety

HaloChat prohibits publishing, distributing, or promoting the following content, including but not limited to:

  • Scams, Ponzi schemes, false investments, or high-return promises
  • False or misleading information
  • Malicious marketing, mass promotion, or illegal activities
  • Content that infringes on others’ privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Violent, pornographic, hateful, or discriminatory speech
  • Other content violating local laws, regulations, or platform rules

This applies to private chats, group chats, avatars, nicknames, or personal profiles. Verified reports of violations may trigger platform enforcement.

4. Reporting and Enforcement Mechanisms

When your account is reported by other users or flagged by system monitoring, HaloChat will conduct a necessary review. Depending on the severity, impact, and history of violations, the platform may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a reminder or warning
  • Restrict certain features
  • Temporarily mute the account
  • Limit login access
  • Suspend account use
  • Permanently ban the account

For repeated violations, deliberate evasion, or serious misconduct, the platform reserves the right to take stricter measures.
All enforcement actions are based on platform rules and objective behavior assessment, not personal opinions or positions.

5. Encouraging Long-Term Positive Use

HaloChat does not encourage “short-term exploitative usage.” Instead, we hope users will:

  • Participate with goodwill and restraint
  • Respect others’ choices and boundaries
  • Use platform features responsibly
  • Actively contribute to a positive community environment

Whether an account is “well-regarded” depends not on how many people you know, but on how many people are willing to continue engaging with you. Following the rules is not only to avoid penalties but also to ensure a stable, secure, and trustworthy experience on HaloChat.
